Storebaelt Bridge across the Great Belt.
Oresund
Bridge from Copenhagen in Denmark to Malmo in Sweden.
Danish motorways
are toll-free, but there are tolls to pay if you use the two major bridges in
Denmark. For information and tolls, follow the links above.
-
Driving from Esbjerg to Sweden, or from the
German border to Sweden, involves using two toll crossings.
-
The Storebaelt Bridge links two parts of
Denmark, Funen and Zealand, across the Great Belt.
-
The Oresund Bridge is the bridge across the
sea between just south of Copenhagen and Malmo in Sweden.
-
The alternative to this, depending on where
you are going in Sweden, is to go to Helsingor north of Copenhagen and take
the short ferry to Helsingborg, which costs about 20% less than the Oresund
Bridge.
